Here a quick recap of books I read in October:
Finished: 8
Epic Fail by Claire LaZebnik
Ashes (Ashes Trilogy #1) by Ilsa J. Bick
The dark and hollow places (The Forest of Hands and Teeth #3) by Carrie Ryan
Like Mandarin by Kirsten Hubbard
Under the Dome by Stephen King
Bad Girls Don't Die (Bad Girls Don't Die #1) by Katie Alender
The Death Cure (Maze Runner #3) by James Dashner
The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E. Lockhart
Series finished (or up to date): 2
The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan (1-2-3)
Maze Runner by James Dashner (1-2-3)
Ashes (Ashes Trilogy #1) by Ilsa J. Bick
Most of you know that post-apocalyptic fiction is my favorite genre, so it's probably no surprise that this was one of my favorite books of the month. At the same time it was also the book that frustrated me the most because of the ridiculous cliffhanger.
The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E. Lockhart
What's next:
I wanted to finish the Tomorrow series in October, but did not get to it so hopefully this month.

I did not have high expectations, but this was so much fun! College pranks, secret societies, a spunky heroine, girl power :)
I have been crazy busy this month with less time for reading. Most of my reading time went into the Under The Dome group read. Although I have some mixed feelings about the book, I really enjoyed reading it with others at the same time. I am definitely looking forward to more group reads.
I am still behind on my reviews and have hardly been posting lately. I really hope to get back to my normal pace in November.
What's next:
I wanted to finish the Tomorrow series in October, but did not get to it so hopefully this month.
I still have some books to go in the reading challenge.
I am also looking forward to read some recently released books: Variant, When She Woke, Torrent, Glow, The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, and Away are all high on my list.

Variant is ok but not that great (according to me),I've heard great things about Mara Dyer though.
Krazyyme @ Young Readers
I'm glad you had fun reading with us. I thought I wouldn't get hardly any other books read this month because of Under the Dome, but I didn't do too bad.
Ashes is one I really want to read too - glad it was good! I hope you like Torrent - I've loved the whole River of Time series and my son (our reviewer, Kole) has devoured the first two so far! -Jessica
I want to read Under The Dome, but the book is so huge! Not going to lie, kind of scared me a little. LoL
@ Krazzyme: Aw... I had high expectations for Variant!
@Jenny: Yes, it was a lot of fun!
@Book Sake: I am reading Torrent now and it's really good. The series is surprisingly good and definitely one of my favorite series I read this year.
@Kristina: It's seriously huge, but I loved it. But if it wasn't for the group read I would probably not have finished it...
